Beach of Skala Eressou

This beach is located a few kilometers on south of the village of Ererssos, 92 km on south-west of Mytilene. It is considered one of the best and most beautiful beaches of the island and extends for a length of 3 km. It is formed by a thin gray sand.

Among other beaches, this beach is not affected by the winds of the Aegean Sea. Here you'll find a wide choice of tavernas that serve appetizers as well as quaint cafés and bars within walking distance of the bay. Visitors can also practice many water sports. West of the beach is a pond full of turtles. In the village, tourists can find more tavernas, bars, cafes and accommodation. Skala Eressou received the Blue Flag award as one of the most beautiful and clean beaches of Greece.
